KinkFest has gone virtual this year, so you don't have to be in Oregon to attend the Portland Leather Alliance fetish festival. But you do need to get your tickets today.

The 22nd annual KinkFest Portland, Oregon’s three-day celebration of sexual diversity, BDSM, fetish, and leather communities, will be first to be held completely online. Pre-registration is required for the April 23-25, 2021 festival that will be hosted on the freeQ system and accessible to a global audience.

The festival features kink-specific social events and workshops from some of the leading queer leather and BDSM personalities. The majority of the presenters are women, trans, or nonbinary and workshops include those for playing with disabled or trans partners, preventing dungeon disasters, addressing racism, and exploring the psychology of kinks.

Here’s the full list of workshops, with links to more details and the name(s) of presenters.

KinkFest is hosted on freeQ, a video platform developed by queers without the censorship and monitoring baked into many mainstream options. Sarah Massey one of the co-founders says the platform was created to keep “our queer and kink communities connected during Covid and beyond. There is a great demand for online alternatives to the IRL events we all miss, and our communities seek safer tech to host them.”

freeQ and collaborators also produce their own content from classes, cocktail hours, and the weekly nightclub Queer Dance Naked Party, which will unofficially close KinkFest 2021.

(There is also going to be a special *Kinky Queer Dance Naked Party in partnership with International Ms. Leather and Boot Black starring Darien Sounds and DJ Sub Woofer on April 17)
