More Nudity Expected at 30th Folsom Street Fair

San Francisco is gearing up for Sunday's Folsom Street Fair, a celebration of leather and kink, as it celebrates its 30th event in the city.

Since last year's event, San Francisco banned public nudity; some are anticipating an increase of naked folks at Folsom, where nude people will be allowed to roam free. The event is adding more "clothes check" stations so people can disrobe at the event, which takes place in the city's South of Market neighborhood. This year will also see the return of elevated steel cage dancers, while demonstration stations will provide information on whipping, bondage, and masochism. Meanwhile, choreographed hook suspensions, where people hang from hooks in their backs and other parts of their body, return to the festival.
