Real Housewives of Miami's Julia Lemigova on the Magic City

Julia Lemigova made history late last year when she became the first out full-time cast member of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, starring alongside women like best friend Adriana de Moura, on The Real Housewives of Miami. The model, actress, beauty entrepreneur, and former pageant queen — she was named Miss USSR in 1990 — has called many places home: Moscow, Paris, London, and now, Miami. Married to tennis icon Martina Navratilova, with whom she’s raising two daughters (and many goats and chickens) on their Florida farm, Lemigova still finds time to frequent Miami’s innumerable hotspots. Coconut Grove Organic Farmers Market is an amazing place to shop with its variety of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. The Saturday market also offers stands with authentic boho chic items, such as handmade soaps, clothing, and many vegan and organic products. (glaserorganicfarms.com)

My secret spot for Japanese cuisine is Marumi Sushi in Plantation, which is not too far from Miami and well worth the trip. They offer authentic, fresh, traditional food and drinks in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. (www.marumisushi.com)

Cauley Square

Cauley Square Historic Village is a historic tree-lined railroad town established in 1903. Today, this charming village offers antique shops, a beauty spa, scented apothecary, restaurants, and a tearoom all nestled among large trees and tropical foliage.
