This Award-Winning Photo Series Takes Fashion Under the Sea

Model Tradell Hawk looks like an aquarium come to life in Braden Summers’s Life Aquatic

Not to toot our own horns, but Out Traveler's Summer issue fashion series, shot by one of our faves — photographer Braden Summers — got some attention of its own. The Life Aquatic series recently won an Honorable Mention for Portraits from the 15th annual  International Color Awards, which recognizes the best in color photography.   

After spending time in Hawaii this past November, Summers tells Out Traveler, “I was inspired by the natural beauty of life in the ocean and created this series.”

And while the undersea world is stunning, we also think model Tradell Hawk might have something to do with the series' success too.
