From parades to parties, this detailed guide has everything you need to immerse yourself in the joyous and colorful festivities of Pride Month in NYC.
The 2024 NYC Pride March will take place on Sunday, June 30, beginning at 11:00 am ET. The march will start at 25th Street and 5th Avenue, proceed south on 5th Avenue, pass by the Stonewall National Monument, and conclude in Chelsea at 16th Street and 7th Avenue. This year's grand marshals are Michelle Visage, Baddie Brooks, Dashawn Usher, Eshe Ukwell, Miss Major, Raquel Willis, and Robin Drake. The theme for the 2024 march is "Reflect. Empower. Unite," celebrating the 40th anniversary of Heritage of Pride, the nonprofit organization behind New York City's official LGBTQIA+ Pride events, and commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.
For those unable to attend, the 2024 Pride March will be broadcast for the eighth consecutive year on ABC New York, available for streaming on June 30. Nationwide coverage will be provided by ABC News Live, featuring a major streaming event called "Pride Across America," with five hours of coverage from three of the country's largest pride marches—NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco—starting at 11 am EDT / 8 am PDT.
PrideFest, the annual street fair with exhibitors, entertainers, food, and activities, returns for another day of fun and celebration. This vibrant event, starting at 11 am, also on June 30, brings together NYC locals, families, community leaders, and global talent performing at StageFest. Catch live performances, enjoy delicious food, shop local vendors, and stock up on your Pride gear!
