Planet Pride, known for its exhilarating atmosphere and top-tier performances, takes place in Brooklyn at Avant Gardner (140 Stewart Ave) on Saturday, June 29.
Produced by the renowned Jake Resnicow and Ty Sunderland, this highly anticipated event will be a marquee attraction of this year’s NYC Pride festivities.
Best of all, this celebration of love, diversity, and music benefits Femme House, which works to create technical and behind-the-scene opportunities for women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ in the music industry.

Rest assured all this partying is for a good cause, as Planet Pride strongly supports the 501(c)(3) charity Femme House. Resnicow tells Out Traveler that’s the only way he would have it.
“We are committed to changing the fact that less than one percent of charting artists identify as LGBTQIA+,” Resnicow tells Out Traveler.
In the past year, Planet Pride has raised over $100,000 and created a roadmap to a Scholarship Program in partnership with the non-profit Femme House. This program provides multiple fellows each year with all the gear necessary to begin their musical journeys, one year of one-on-one music training, professional development, and industry mentorship. Fellows can also broadcast on the twice-weekly Femme House Radio on Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM and perform on the biggest festival stages around the world.
