Add Splash House to your music festival bucket list!

The staple Palm Springs event has grown in popularity since its debut over 10 years ago and it's only gaining momentum each and every summer.

With headliners like SG Lewis, John Summit, MEDUZA, and so many more performing electric sets this year, Splash House has EDM lovers partying all day and night in the August heat.

The best part of Splash House? The community. From the performers to the attendees and all of the hard-working crew members behind the scenes, it's safe to say you'll quickly add more people to your rave family by securing your ticket to this epic event.

Splash House sets itself apart from other festivals thanks to its environment.

For its 11th year, Splash House took over three well-known properties throughout Palm Springs to throw fantastic pool parties that featured exhilarating daytime DJ sets.

With multiple hotels and venues acting as the backdrop for the two-weekend festival, there's many opportunities to explore each pool, meet new friends, and enjoy the different flares that every resort offers.

Renaissance Palm Springs, Margaritaville Resort, and The Saguaro each brought their own unique vibes as ravers hopped in shuttles and checked out multiple different sets.

All of the hotels had big stages, plenty of excited people dancing in the pools, and multiple bartenders ready to serve up delicious drinks to make the experience even more memorable.

Also, dedicated attendees created custom banners to display on their hotel balconies for people to enjoy while gathering in the sun. The vibes are truly immaculate as everyone pulls out all of the stops to make it a nonstop party.

If you thought the partying stopped once the sun went down, then buckle up... as true ravers go full force once the nighttime rolls around.

You'll find DJs completely transforming their hotel rooms at all three resorts, so anyone can pop in and out and keep the good vibes going until the early hours of the morning.

Plus, it wouldn't be a complete festival itinerary if a thrilling afterparty wasn't on the schedule. Thankfully, Splash House also raises the bar when it comes to the afters.

Taking place at the Palm Springs Air Museum, everyone has an opportunity to put on their EDC fits and enjoy a night dancing under the stars in a very unique venue.

The museum has vintage war aircrafts on display, so there's nothing more trippy than watching lasers shooting out of huge planes as you're jamming out to heart pumping music.

As a typically solo raver, I find myself feeling at home during nights like these and it always circles back to the incredible community.

Thanks to the afters, I made new rave friends that I got to party every night with. In fact, some of them were friends with my chosen family from Electric Forest, so it just proves that the rave family is a small but mighty community.

If that weren't enough, Splash House and Goldenvoice are also inviting fans back to Palm Springs Air Museum this November for the return of Desert Air!

This exciting rave has an unbelievable lineup including performances by Club Heat: Tove Lo & SG Lewis, Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Slayyyter (DJ Set), and many more. To learn more about this exciting festival, check out the website here.

If you're looking for the ultimate Palm Springs experience while attending Splash House, then you can't miss out on some other luxurious and engaging activities that happen all year round in the desert oasis.

This town is known as an LGBTQ+ hotspot and there's plenty of drag brunch options available, but you're definitely missing out if you don't take the opportunity to check out brunch at Reforma Nightclub.

During the day, this intimate club transforms to give patrons an exciting drag brunch they'll certainly remember. Hosted by the fabulous Epiphany Kali, I enjoyed a wide range of drag queens perform show-stopping numbers that I still can't get out of my head to this day.

Splash House certainly elevates the festival experience by partying in the host hotels all weekend, but if you're like me, then sneaking away to a quiet resort once your legs need a break is also an option for you.

As a gay man myself, I couldn't have imagined staying at a better property than the Descanso Resort. The gorgeous men's resort is clothing-optional and features a wide range of luxuries that'll have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated before heading to the next DJ set.

Just some of the amenities at Descanso Resort include a heated salt water swimming pool and outdoor spa, poolside sun beds and an outdoor shower, continental breakfast, complimentary snacks and drinks, along with the comfiest beds and furniture in your spacious suites.

Earlier I mentioned that the community makes festival experiences like Splash House top tier and it's no different at Descanso. Led by General Manager Charles Zalepeski, I've personally never met such a talented, attentive, kind, and supportive staff at a resort in my entire life.

I can't recommend Descanso Resort anymore than I already have, so take a minute to learn more about this beautiful property by visiting the website here.

Finally, it wouldn't be an ideal trip to Palm Springs without some much-needed rest and relaxation. Look no further than The Spa at Séc-he Palm Springs.

I was thankfully able to kick off my Splash House weekend by visiting The Spa at Séc-he Palm Springs before heading off to my first party, so I was able to give my body the perfect reset before all of the shenanigans in store.

With so many relaxing options to choose from, I kicked off my visit at The Spa with their signature hot mineral bath that gave my body the rejuvenation it needed. Taking place in your own private soaking room, this tranquil amenity is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the services offered.

The Spa at Séc-he Palm Springs really has it all... from quartz beds to flotation suites, salt caves to even cryotherapy, these options don't even scratch the surface when it comes to the other relaxing methods available.

Once I stepped out of my mineral bath, I hopped into the best shower of my life that featured massage-like pressure and even Vitamin C scents, so all of my senses were truly at peace.

When you visit this stunning spa, be sure to also immerse yourself in the steam rooms, fitness centers, co-ed pools, wellness lounges and saunas. To book your visit at The Spa at Séc-he Palm Springs, check out the website here.

Let's just say a weekend in Palm Springs for the Splash House music festival has all of the tools needed to make core memories that'll last a lifetime.

As Splash House celebrates their 11th anniversary this year, there's no doubt in my mind that this festival will continue to dominate the EDM scene for many more years to come.

For all of my ravers who have yet to experience Splash House, then start planning this summer getaway ASAP. Keep an eye out for all of the details on next year's festival by signing up for updates on their website.

Also, don't forget that Desert Air is just a couple months away and would easily serve as the perfect first step for anyone looking to experience the EDM scene in Palm Springs.

On a personal note, I started raving just a couple years ago and it's completely changed my life. I've met the most beautiful people in every industry by attending music festivals across the country.

Now, I get to encourage everyone in my rave family to attend another life-changing event like Splash House. Life is short, so I hope to see you in your swimsuit next year at Splash House in Palm Springs.
