Out Traveler Awards 2014: Time to Vote!

Traveling when you're LGBT is a very specific experience: Is the hotel staff friendly? Do you feel safe holding hands with your partner down the street? Does a destination enforce LGBT-friendly laws and policies? We have to be careful when we decide where to go and how to spend our money. With that in mind we want your take on what hotels, destinations, airlines, and cruises are the best for the LGBT traveler. Out Traveler editors, along with editors from sister publications like Out and The Advocate, picked the nominees, deciding their choices based on whether properties or destinations made LGBT-specific strides in the past year, considering if they specifically market to gay travelers, and weighing any new amenities or infastructure (check out the winners from last year here). 

We're opening up our first 17 categories to voting now, and closing polls on Friday, November 14. We're announcing nominees in our most contentious category, Incomparable U.S. Gay Neighborhood, next week, so stay tuned. We can't wait to see what you think.
