This Vodka is Looking for Five Gay Husbands

Ogden’s Own is looking for five good gay husbands to grace their annual label for its Five Husbands Vodka.

Each year the distillery, the largest in Utah, selects five devoted gay husbands to appear on their Five Husbands Vodka. In past years, the selection process was open only to candidates from Utah. However, Ogden’s Own has put out a nationwide casting call for its 2022 version.

The distillery has multiple spirits with an LGBTQ+ theme. They already produce Five Wives Vodka and since 2018 Ogden’s Own has distilled Madam Pattirini Gin. Named after Brigham Morris Young, one of Brigham Young’s many sons, the husband and father came back from his second Mormon mission to the Hawaiian Islands in 1875 and began performing in drag using the stage name Madam Pattirini to wide acclaim across Utah and the West.

Qualified gay husbands seeking to appear on the 2022 label of Five Husbands Vodka are encouraged to submit a brief story on themselves to Ogden’s Own. Candidates can talk about their hobbies, life, charitable and community involvement, their social media links, and, of course, plenty of pictures to info@ogdensown.com. Candidates should also discuss their availability to represent Five Husbands Vodka within their community.

The five lucky husbands will be announced on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Bottles with the new labels are expected to hit the shelves in May just in time for Pride.
