Local media is calling the three passengers 'idiots.'
Three K-Pop fans made a mess out of a scheduled flight out of Hong Kong when they forced an entire plane to disembark after harassing a famous band. Three stans, who are being called ‘idiots’ by the local press, boarded a plane and sat in their business-class seats. The three seemed to have known that the plane would also hold the members of their favorite boy band, Wanna One. As anticipated, the boys, who had just performed at the M-Net Asian Music Awards, also took their seats on the Korean Air flight.
The three fans rushed the band with signs and asked for pictures and ignored requests from the cabin crew. The three then decided that they didn’t want to be on the flight to Seoul anymore and requested to get off the plane.
As a result of air traffic laws, every passenger on the flight then had to get off the plane and go through security again.
To make the situation even worse, the three then requested full refunds from Korean Air, which they were allowed to receive because they had purchased full-price airfare.
The airline then also had to compensate all 360 passengers after more than an hour delay.
