EDM festivals are all the rage these days, but Sphere in Las Vegas is truly in a league of its own.

Sin City's latest venue quickly took over everyone's algorithms when it opened at the end of 2023. Headliners like U2, Phish, Dead & Company, and the Eagles went viral for their unbelievable visuals that complimented their upbeat music in the immersive arena.

Although each of those bands made their mark at Sphere, nobody was prepared for the first EDM performer to take the stage. Afterlife Presents Anyma: The End of Genesys serves as the inaugural residency to feature a DJ and predominantly dance music.

When it comes to creating a experience that taps into everything Sphere can offer, Anyma certainly understood the assignment. It's no wonder that all of his shows sold out, including the new dates that were added following a very high demand.

Anyma performs his electric set on the top of a gorgeous riser surrounded by glowing cords that put him on the pedestal he deserves. Although his platform is impressive, it's the visuals behind him that really transport audiences into a whole new world.

The best part about seeing a show at Sphere? There's not one bad seat in the house.

Securing a ticket for the pit at the front of the venue is never a bad choice, especially if you're surrounded by friendly people who are ready to dance the night away with you.

However, if you decide to opt for an actual seat in one of the higher sections, then get ready for a 4D experience like none other. Every seat has surround sound speakers that really brings the music to life. Plus, the chairs shake and rumble along with the base, so there's a good chance you won't even want to stand up throughout the exhilarating show.

There's truly something for everyone at a Sphere residency. If you'd like to enjoy the show as if it were a movie, then sitting higher up and taking in all of the unbelievable visuals is a real treat. On the other hand, if you're hoping to bust a move with your crew and everyone around you, then the pit is the way to go.

One thing to brace for... get ready to put your neck to work as you'll be looking up multiple times throughout the night. The very large and grand LED screen will have you turning your head in every direction to absorb all of the mind-blowing visuals in front of you.

Sphere has changed the game when it comes to escapism through EDM. How will visuals at any other festival or show live up to Anyma's residency? Only time will tell. It would be incredible to see other DJs eventually perform at the stunning theater down the road.

Although Anyma's residency has sadly come to an end, the demand is still very much alive for his grand return. Until then, there's plenty of thrilling shows and concerts scheduled throughout the year at Sphere. Learn more by visiting the official website here.
