With Washington State now one of the nine states that currently allow same-sex marriage, the Evergreen State and its crown jewel, Seattle, aka Emerald City, are finding new fans in LGBT travelers, couples and singles alike.
If you want to get out there to see for yourself where Kurt Cobain wrote his famous songs, where Starbucks got its start and where Stephen slapped fellow Real World housemate Irene, while also immersing yourself in the state's robust cuisine and delectable spirits, enter The Advocate's "Taste Washington" sweepstakes. Winners will receive a 2-day trip for two to Seattle to experience the sites, sounds and flavors of Taste Washington, the nation's the largest single-region wine and food event.
Being held March 24th and 25th at the CenturyLink Field Event Center, Taste Washington features not only fare from fantastic eateries like like Restaurant Bea, Ivars Seafood and Mt. Townsend Creamery, but also a slew of vintages from Washington's burgeoning wine scene, a scene that is in and of itself worth exploring.
