The ninth annual Gay Games kicks off this weekend in the unlikely city of Cleveland. Although this Rust Belt metropolis is not known for being a huge LGBT draw in the way other Gay Games host cities like Paris and San Francisco are, Cleveland certainly has its own charms. There is not one specific gayborhood, but many of the Cleveland's gay-friendly shops, restaurants, and clubs are found on Detroit Avenue.
