NoRal Apparel brings the heat at Blatino Oasis and CCBC Palm Springs!
NoRal Apparel brought its line of revealing menswear designs to Blatino Oasis at CCBC in Palm Springs recently, and we have the pics from this sizzling hot display in the desert sun!
The brainchild of designer, creator, and Kentucky native LaRon Hickerson (Ron DuWayne), NoRal’s bold menswear designs proudly and unabashedly celebrate off the male figure while paying homage to elements of pop culture. This year’s show, the ninth for NoRal at Blatino Oasis, captured the essence of Hickerson’s work, featuring Men’s Swim, Exotic, and Ready to Wear pieces from his extensive collection of NoRal designs.
“I call it ‘sewing therapy,’” Hickerson tells Out Traveler, adding it was “the only way” he was able to endure the hardships of the past few years.
“With our world finally reopening, business has been in full swing once again,” Hickerson, a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design, says. “It feels good to create something one-of-a-kind that no one else will find anywhere. The ability to dream and create is truly a blessing.”
