Southern Decadence is an annual six-day LGBTQ+ event held in the Big Easy during Labor Day Weekend, culminating in a parade through the French Quarter on the Sunday before Labor Day.
The Out and Out Traveler party will kick off September 3rd with drag queens Wontonya Dumpling and Cynthia Lee Fontaine.

SKYY Vodka cocktails will be flowing and music will be bumping at The Pool Club, located on the 13th floor of Virgin Hotels New Orleans.
Virgin Hotels New Orleans opened in October 2021 in the city’s Warehouse Arts District, just 10 minutes on foot from Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. It has 238 rooms some of which are far bigger than your New York apartment at 1,000 square feet. Hang out in the pool overlooking the city while enjoying the festivities.

The event will raise money for Project Lazarus which provides housing and support services for people living with HIV through Halloween New Orleans, an all-volunteer run nonprofit organization which has a rich 39-year history of raising money for Project Lazarus. This party is a pre-cursor to the group's larger three-day Halloween Weekend celebration raising money the organizations Project Lazarus.
We'll be raffling off a 2-night stay at the Virgin over Halloween Weekend that includes passes to that queer blowout (or you can just buy tickets at our Southern Decadence party)!
