Exclusive | Readers' Choice Awards 2008 Part Two

Our fourth annual Readers' Choice Awards reveal the best in gay travel.

FAVORITE GAY PRIDE EVENT
Gold: New York City Pride
Over one million people attend the New York City LGBT March every June, possibly the biggest and loudest Pride event in the country. The celebration includes the annual Pier dance and Pridefest a street fair that has returned after spending last year on hiatus.

Silver: San Francisco Pride
This year marked the 38th anniversary of San Francisco's LGBT Pride Celebration, a weekend that brings in roughly half a million people from outside the Bay Area.

Bronze: Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. A parade, a picnic attended by 70,000 celebrators, and over 100 different art events help create the vibrant and sunny atmosphere the Australians are famous for.

Runner-ups: Chicago Pride, Amsterdam Pride

LEGAL GAY HONEYMOON DESTINATION
Gold: California
Whether honeymooning on the beaches of SoCal or in the vineyards of the Napa Valley, California provides a gorgeous backdrop for post-nuptials bliss (whether or not marriage equality is overturned in November's balloting).

Silver: Spain
With cultural metropolis Barcelona, party island Ibiza, fast-paced Madrid, and in-the-know gem Valencia, Spain offers plenty of honeymoon options.

Bronze: The Netherlands
As the first country to legalize same-sex marriage back in 2001, the Netherlands will always be dear to the hearts of LGBT travelers. Runner-ups: Canada, Massachusetts

HOTEL COLLECTION
Gold: W Hotels
A four-time champ, gay-friendly hotel collection W continued courting the gays and lesbians with Pride 365, a year-round offer catering to LGBT people. It doesn't hurt that W Hotels can be found in just about any trendy travel destination.

Silver: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts
Spring, summer, winter, or fall, Four Seasons is one of the most illustrious hotel collections in the world.

Bronze: Kimpton Hotels
This gay-beloved hotel group received a perfect score on the annual HRC Corporate Equality Index. Their LGBT-specific microsite includes targeted specials for gay travelers.

Runners Up: Marriott Hotels, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts
