Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader Receives Surprise Wedding Proposal

It was a rough season for the Atlanta Falcons, so it was up to the cheerleaders to bring some joyful celebration as the regular season drew to a close over the weekend.

Though he’s not a football player, Dominic Williams scored more than a touchdown on Sunday when he used the opportunity of the season’s final game to propose to his boyfriend, Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Ben Ajani!

The two have been an item for some time, posting pics of themselves together regularly, like on a recent trip to New York City and Radio City Music Hall.

But on Sunday, Williams was all business as he dropped on bended knee and proposed to a very surprised Ajani.

Ajani was clearly emotional as he was surrounded by fans, his fellow cheerleaders, and one finely feathered mascot.

The cheerleader was clearly surprised and overcome with emotion at his beautiful boyfriend’s proposal.

Of course, Ajani accepted and sealed the deal with a big hug.

Even team mascot Freddie Falcon was moved by the moment and shared in the joy with the newly engaged couple. It was a great way to end the season for the team.
