The first annual Washashore Music & Arts Festival takes off this weekend across three venues promising plenty of music, comedy, drag queens, and parties.

The first annual Washashore Music & Arts Festival takes place this weekend, October 8-10, in the queer mecca of Provincetown, Mass., featuring performances by pop superstar Vincent and Grammy-nominated country music star Ty Herndon. The three-day event is presented by Provincetown Brewing Co. and executive produced by Live from Provincetown and Not Your Average Presents.

“I’m excited to put on a show in a place founded by our community for our community,” said Vincint in a statement. “P-town is one of my favorite places and every time I’m there it feels like home. I can’t wait to sing at home.”

We want this festival to contribute to keeping Provincetown a queer and accessible destination.”

“Far out on the tip of a sandbar, Provincetown is an international platform for artists to showcase their talent with the freedom to express themselves because of the vibrancy and openness of this community,” Alex Dropo of Not Your Average Presents, said in a statement.
