Grindr Hosting 10 ‘Meet Market’ Parties Just in Time for Valentine’s Day

Grindr is hosting 10 Valentine’s ‘Meet Market’ parties this Valentine’s Day Eve, and you’re a special invited guest!

Building on the success of their previous Pride Comeback and Halloween ‘Fright Now’ parties, Grindr is partnering with GayCities and GoFundMe as well as local LGBTQ+ bars to let Grindr’s Valentine’s ‘Meet Market’ guests party with a purpose. The parties take place Sunday, February 13, at various times across the country. You can find all the details online at the Grindr ‘Meet Market’ website.

“We’re thrilled to continue supporting and celebrating queer businesses this Valentine’s Day while also providing our users a fun and flirty opportunity to meet, mix, and mingle IRL,” Alex Black, director of marketing for the popular gay dating and hookup app, said in a statement.

Guests will again receive free drinks and entertainment, along with plenty of great Grindr swag like free Grindr Unlimited. And because Cupid missed his mark (again) this year, there will be no cover charge or need to RSVP. Just present your Grindr app at the door and you’re ready to start having fun looking for the next love of your life (or night).

Grindr also plans on covering all talent performance fees so bars can hire talent from the local community.

The parties will take place at various time this Sunday, February 13, in the following 10 destinations: Atlanta (Blake’s on the Park), Chicago (Roscoe’s), Columbus (Cavan Irish Pub), Houston (JR’s), Fort Lauderdale (Alibi), Los Angeles (Stache), Minneapolis (The Saloon), NYC (Pieces), Phoenix (Charlie’s), and San Diego (Rich’s).
