Galantis, Aquaria To Perform at First-Annual Planet Pride Festival

Galantis, Aquaria, SG Lewis, and others will perform at the first-annual Planet Pride Festival in Brooklyn taking place June 25th at Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage.

The 12-hour Planet Pride Festival will be the first-ever hybrid Pride event taking place both live and online at MetaPride Land, the metaverse safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, and will include a mix of musical acts, drag shows, performance artists, and DJ sets.

In addition to Galantis and SG Lewis, Planet Pride will also feature a Surprise Popstar, performances by RuPaul Drag Race’s Aquaria, Gottmik and Violet Chachki, and DJ sets by LP Giobbi, Ty Sunderland, DJ Lina, Alexis Tucci, Allison Nunes, Ben Bakson, Dan Slater, Fabio Luigi, Spencer H, Las Bibas from Vizcaya, and Matt Denton. The full lineup is not complete, and additional acts and performers will be announced.

Planet Pride Festival is the collaboration of 2018 Out 100 honoree Jake Resnicow and Ty Sunderland, both prominent LGTBQ+ promoters, and will unite LGBTQ+ events Dreamland, WE Party, XLSIOR, ZeroSpace, Ty Tea, and Devil’s Playground into one festival. This will also be the first hybrid event for MetaPride Land, the safe community space for LGBTQ+ folks in the metaverse.

“Physical restrictions no longer prevent our community from celebrating Pride,” Jake Resnicow said in a statement. “Discrimination becomes disempowered. MetaPride Land is a safe and anonymous place for people to gather online to celebrate Pride from the safety of their homes, and choose their level of immersion through sociable experiences.”
