The desert city's newest retail experience combines essential Palm Springs merchandise with a focus on helping non-profits.

If you're headed to Palm Springs this weekend for the city's annual Pride event, you'll want to visit Destination PSP, the newest and most unique retail experience to open in the Coachella Valley this year.

Jeffrey Bernstein, co-owner of the store, has taken great care to ensure that their merchandise is manufactured regionally with sustainable packaging designed in-house. A look at their extensive online list of items in-stock includes apparel, home and pool accessories, and some of the best gifts available with the essential mid-century modern vibe Palm Springs has made world famous.

"A primary goal from the inception of Destination PSP has been to work with non-profits," explains Bernstein. "Each one offers something special, and together make up the foundation of Palm Springs. Each non-profit organization will have its own dedicated vignette that not only displays its merchandise and can sell tickets to their events, but also allows them to tell their own compelling story," Bernstein says about the store's additional function as a marketing space with special promotions.

Check out photos below of Destination PSP's grand opening to coincide with Palm Springs Pride, including the Under & Out fashion show the organization helped produce to benefit Desert AIDS Project.

Destination PSP's flagship store is located in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs at 170 North Palm Canyon and is open 10am-10pm.
