Citi Bike Makes Celebrating Pride Easier (And Gayer)

Now, there’s no excuse for showing up to the Pride parade sans style—Citi Bike will be offering complimentary valet service to bikers at Sunday's March and Dance on the Pier. At select stations along the Pride route, valets (hopefully cute ones) will be ready to take bikes, even if racks are full.
And what’s more, Motivate (who oversees the 6,000+ bikes that make up Citi Bike) has decorated 200 special bikes with lots and lots of rainbows, to remind everyone that it’s Pride week!
Several Citi Bike employees will be riding along during Sunday’s March, showing their support for the LGBTQ community. Because the best way to make a pride outfit even gayer is to add a rainbow bike to it.
“We’re proud of our diverse workforce and our diverse customers,” said Jay Walder, President and CEO of Motivate. “We’re proud to partner with Citi to celebrate with New Yorkers, and Citi Bike valet service will help make it a little easier to get to and from the great events on Sunday.”
Thanks, Citi, for supporting the community and keeping Pride-goers from paying for cabs.
