The NYCSubwayGuys tumblr, around for years, recently captured the prurient attention of the gay online world (guilty!) with its pictures of handsome men riding New York City transit. But, sadly, its days are numbered.
Everyone from NewNowNext to Frontiers is breathless over the blog, with its pages and pages of diverse guys making the subway a much more beautiful place. Though mostly focusing on New York's subway riders, the blog includes pictures of hot guys going green in other cities, from Cairo to Montreal. Combining public transit and beefcake is a great idea, but the site's administrator recently posted the following message:
"In the coming days, ‘NYCSUBWAYGUYS’ will be taken down. Thanks to all who have contributed or enjoyed the blog over the years! It’s been a lot of fun capturing NYC’s hottest!
A friend and constant contributor to ‘NYCSUBWAYGUYS’ has started his own page as a place to keep posting pictures - you should check it out, follow the blog and contribute! His can be found at https://nychotguys.tumblr.com. I will hopefully be able to contribute to his every once in a while as well!"
