Spotlight on Mexico City: Patisserie Dominique
Not far from one of the main streets of La Roma, you will actually find Dominique, a French and cozy boulangerie. Buttery pain au chocolat, mouth-melting macarons, and chocolate-dipped éclairs are among the specialties of this devilish pastry shop.
"Oui" is a word used often at this place, of course. You just can't resist saying yes to having some fresh made coffee accompanied by a crispy croissant, and the view of a typical Mexican rue.
Dominique, owner of the shop, also prepares breakfasts and lunches for the bon vivant who crave a little French touch in their “daily." Try to arrive early, because there are only four tables and it's usually packed.
Chiapas 157a (Medellin y monterrey), Colonia Roma, Mexico City. Find them on Facebook.
