We Bet You Want To Know What 'Vegas Season' Is

Right now is the best time to enjoy all the delicious fun the city has to offer.

Too often, holidays feel like they were designed for kids. But Las Vegas is an adult playground, and an adult playground deserves its own holiday, don’t you think? That’s why there's Vegas Season — basically a summer-long excuse to soak up (literally) all the sun that southern Nevada can offer, as well as the drinks, meals, shows, and spas. Vegas Season begins now and includes so many offerings your head will spin (in a good way). Just so you can maximize your time while in the city, we plucked out the best ways to spend the Season.

The Brunch
The country club feel magically transports itself to Vegas with Sunday brunch at The Country Club at Wynn Las Vegas. With top-notch jazz music playing in the background, this is the best way to kick off your day — or recover from last night. We also suggest Hexx Kitchen & Bar at Paris Las Vegas, which offers everything you could want for this mid-day meal, plus Overlook Grill at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a poolside staple reknown for its Bloody Marys and Mimosas. And if getting off the Vegas Strip is a priority, head to Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa and Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar — surrounded by picturesque mountains, it’s a great option for relaxing.

The Pool
There’s no doubt where the hottest pool party is during Vegas Season: from May 17 - September 27, Temptation Sundays at Luxor Hotel & Casino is where it’s at. If you’re gay, or just want to hang with LGBT friends, there is literally no better option on Sundays in Vegas. Temptation Sundays is a favorite of locals and visitors alike thanks to an atmosphere that manages to be welcoming, fun, and sexy all at the same time. Don't believe us? Click here.
If you want something a bit more relaxing (and luxurious) try on the five pools — two of them lap pools — adorned with extravagant Italian-inspired backdrops at Bellagio Las Vegas. There are also the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace, each one suited for your different needs, be them active (The Fortuna Pool, action packed with a scotch tasting) or relaxed (the Jupiter Pool with a ton of cabanas).
If you're ready to party poolside, try Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The lounge-like daytime feel morphs into a nightclub after the sun goes down.

The Music
The music scene is one of Vegas’ greatest attraction and the biggest names in the business will be in town for Vegas Season. On Saturday, May 30, act like Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Nicki Minaj, and Echosmith perform at Caesars Palace for the iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party. What starts as an all-day pool party transitions at night into a concert hotspot. The performances will stream on Yahoo! Live at and be televised June 11 on The CW.
Continuing with the bay/beach/pool theme, Chris Young, 311, and Ziggy Marley are just a few of the major acts swinging through town for the Mandalay Bay Beach Concert Series. Click here for dates and times.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is also getting into the poolside concert action, with Billy Currington, Neon Trees, and Barenaked Ladies all scheduled for Vegas Season. Click here for dates and times.
