Chanel unveiled a new boutique last week at Wynn Las Vegas, showcasing its complete universe of products and featuring the Fall-Winter 2021/22 collection designed by Virginie Viard. Conceived by architect Peter Marino, the 8,000 square foot boutique is divided into three spaces dedicated to Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewelry, and Fragrance & Beauty.
The two Ready-to-Wear salons feature Viard’s decidedly modern collection, an intersectional mix of apres-ski holiday attire and the effortless chic of Paris after dark. The collection plays with contrasts, such as updating a tweed suit with a cropped jacket and oversized trousers.
The complete Chanel collection of shoes is offered in the shoe salon, from black leather camellia mules to furry ski boots. A private terrace off the salon overlooks the Lake of Dreams and Wynn waterfall.
The Watches & Fine Jewelry salon features Coco Crush, Camelia, and Comete collections. The design of the salon is a modern mix of black and white softened by the woven curtains and the Louis XV gilded wood mirror.
The entire boutique features a selection of art works curated by Peter Marino. From Peter Dayton paintings in the private fitting room to works by Jack Eriksson and Bruno Gambone in the Ready-to-Wear salon, the boutique reflects Gabrielle Chanel’s admiration for the arts.
