Say goodbye to those quarantine blues by making plans to sail around the world with Royal Caribbean on their new Ultimate World Tour. The 274-night cruise visits 150 destinations in 65 countries on all seven continents, and travelers will tour 11 great wonders of the world including the pyramids of Egypt, Peru’s Machu Picchu, and the Taj Mahal in India. The cruise sets sail from Miami in December 2023, and is broken into four segments or expeditions, with a range of booking options available.
“This is the world cruise of world cruises,” Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, said in a statement. “Now more than ever, people have resolved to travel the world and make up for lost time. Royal Caribbean is making that a reality with the ultimate vacation that welcomes those seeking adventure and exploration to taste, dance and dream with us around the world. To travelers asking themselves where they should go next, we say everywhere.”
The cruise departs Miami on December 10, 2023, on board the Serenade of the Seas with the Round the Horn: Americas & Antarctica Expedition. Next is the Wonders of Asia & The Pacific Expedition, sailing from Los Angeles to visit Hawaii, Japan, Australia, and more. Middle East Treasures & Marvels of the Mediterranean explores the ancient wonders of the world. The final Capitals of Culture Expedition visits the highlights of Europe before heading back to New York and ultimately Miami.
Fares for the entire Ultimate World Cruise start at $60,999 per person based on double occupancy, with a special 10 percent discount if paid in full by January 6, 2023. Pricing for the four expeditions will be announced later this year.
Guests with Royal Caribbean’s Diamond and above Crown & Anchor Society members can reserve their cabin for the entire Ultimate World Tour cruise now or one of the segments later this year.
