Here’s everything you need to know.

The 37th annual Arizona Gay Rodeo takes place takes place this weekend, February 17-19, at the Corona Ranch in Laveen. The event will feature plenty of traditional activities, as well as a wild drag race that truly lives up to its name. Tickets are still available at the AGRA website.

Ceremonies begin tonight with the AGRA Royalty Competition followed by the Charlie’s/AGRA Mini Rodeo. Other popular events include roping, riding, and the AGRA Rodeo School. Less traditional events include the Goat Dressing competition, where a team of two attempt to put a pair of underwear on an otherwise naked got, and the Wild Drag Race, which features a contestant in drag trying to mount and ride a steer across the finish line first.
