Traveling between the U.S. and Asia just got even more seamless. Starting April 25, 2025, Cathay Pacific will launch a new nonstop service between Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Hong Kong (HKG)—the airline’s longest route yet, clocking in at almost 17 hours. This expansion makes Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport the first major hub in the South for Cathay Pacific passenger flights, reaffirming the airline’s growing commitment to North America.
“This is a major milestone for Cathay Pacific’s North American growth,” says Chris van den Hooven, Senior Vice President for the Americas. “Our new flight underscores our mission to connect passengers to our home city of Hong Kong—and beyond.”

Airplane food often gets a bad reputation, but Cathay Pacific is redefining in-flight dining with exclusive partnerships that bring Michelin-starred cuisine to the skies. First and Business Class passengers can savor French delicacies curated by Louise, a Michelin-starred restaurant, while Premium Economy travelers on long- and medium-haul flights departing from Hong Kong can enjoy Italian flavors from Pirata. Cathay Pacific also celebrates its Hong Kong heritage by offering Michelin-starred dishes from Duddell’s, including the signature wok-fried lobster with ginger, served to First and Business Class passengers departing from Hong Kong. These thoughtful culinary collaborations ensure that dining at 35,000 feet is an experience to remember.
Wellness at every stage of travel

Beyond in-flight comfort, Cathay Pacific is also leading the way in wellness-focused travel. The airline’s luxury lounges in Hong Kong provide travelers with a relaxing pre-flight experience, prioritizing both privacy and rejuvenation. First Class passengers can enjoy an exclusive retreat area featuring private suites with daybeds, reading lights, and privacy curtains, while also indulging in massage treatments ranging from foot massages to scalp massages. The luxurious limestone-and-timber shower suites offer another layer of relaxation before or after a long flight. Business Class travelers can unwind in The Tea House, where they can interact with a sensory tea menu, allowing them to see and smell different blends before making their selection. The relaxation room also provides a peaceful escape from the hustle of the airport.
Expanding global connectivity
