WATCH: Terrifying Turbulence Captured on Video
An American Airlines flight from South Korea to Dallas took a terrifying turn when the plane flew right into a major storm.
The jet was flying Tuesday when it barreled into a storm ravaging northern Japan, with winds of up to 235 m.p.h. The video, captured by a passenger and obtained by the Washington Post, shows the plane shaking violently while a small group of fliers scream in terror. The plane eventually landed in Tokyo, with four passengers and one crewmember sustaining minor injuries. Commercial pilot Ron Baker told the Post that most planes can withstand extreme turbulence, but if passengers aren't seated and buckled in, that's where the danger comes in.
