And for once it wasn't just Bethenny rocking the boat.
While filming the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City, the ladies took to the seas in Colombia that ended with vomiting, fire, and a sinking boat. The cast apparently took a short leisure cruise while visiting world-famous beach-resort Cartagena that hit such high seas that Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Tinsley Mortimer, and Dorinda Medley were left fearing for their lives.
“Once they were ushered on board, the boat couldn’t even move. The anchor got stuck, so the crew had to saw the anchor off before they could sail anywhere,” according to Page Six. “When they got out to sea, the engine caught fire. It was a huge blaze and the crew was fighting to put it out. They didn’t have a fire extinguisher nor did they speak English.
Before this even happened, the boat didn’t stand a chance in the choppy sea as the seats and other bits of the boat were flopping about, and two of the ladies couldn’t stop vomiting from seasickness.
Despite fearing for their lives, the women and the crew were rescued by another boat and brought safely back to shore.
Bravo said: "The Real Housewives of New York City cast was recently on a boat in South America and encountered turbulent water. Thankfully, everyone is fine and was able to continue their vacation as planned. The safety of our cast and crew is paramount and, to that end, we are doing a full investigation.”
