Two-Minute Cinema: Lorde's 'Perfect Places' Video is Full of Wanderlust

If you’re a fan of Instagram travel porn, you’ll love Lorde’s latest video. In “Perfect Places,” she appears to be on one perpetual vacation around the world, and we’re hella jealous. Dancing around bonfires, reading in rowboats, swimming under waterfalls, having tea parties on balconies and running through the jungle, the video is basically a four-minute tourism ad.

The song is pretty decent too. It’s an upbeat jam for a generation with wanderlust. The track fits perfectly into the artist’s musical evolution, cohesively following up “Green light” and “Sober.”
