Listed: 9 Summer Concerts You Won't Want to Miss

Besides being a time for backyard barbecues, Pride festivals, and fireworks, the summer is the best time to catch great concerts with your favorite artists (many with the added bonus of taking place in an open-air venue). Here, our list of nine tours to keep you rocking on:

1. 98˚ with O-Town, Dream and Ryan Cabrera. Tour kicks off July 8 in Park City, Kansas.

2. Diana Ross(above) at the Hollywood Bowl. July 15 and 16.

3. Culture Club. They will be performing in Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta and many more cities.

4.The Go-Go's "Farewell Tour". Kicks off August 2 in Clearwater, Florida.

5. Dolly Parton "Pure and Simple Tour." Next show is July 19 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

6. Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. Although currently underway, there are still plenty of opportunities to see these two perform.

7. Justin Bieber. Still a few performances left to his tour, but you'd better hurry if you want tickets as most venues are close to being sold out (if they aren't already.)

8. Heart, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Cheap Trick. Catch the trio in cities like Dallas, St. Louis and Des Moines, among others.

9. Beyoncé "The Formation World Tour" returns to the U.S. on September 8 with a dozen shows around the country.
