In Bristol, UK, a mural has been created that shows Donald Trump swapping spit with London's former mayor Boris Johnson. Painted by a group of politically active artists and thinkers called We Are Europe, the piece includes a caption reading: "Not #INFORTHIS? Register to vote on the EU Referendum now!"
Boris was chosen because, like Trump, he's said publicly that he'd like to "shut down borders," and has expressed homophobic and racist views. He's a Brexit campaigner, which means at the upcoming Referendum he'll be voting for the UK to leave the EU.
The EU Referendum, happening June 23, will decide whether or not England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland will remain a part of the greater EU. The UK already has a special position within the EU; it gets to use the pound instead of adopting the Euro and it controls its own borders.
According to Gay Star News, We Are Europe's art was created because "we couldn’t stand by and watch [the Referendum] be dominated by political infighting, negative arguments and middle-aged trolls." Their goal is to get people informed and voting, whatever their politics might be.
