This Just Out: Miss Trans Israel, Tallywackers Boylesque, and Miss Gay America

First Miss Trans Israel Pageant

Kicking off Tel Aviv Pride this year will be the first Miss Trans Israel pageant. The 12 contestants represent the courage and tolerance of Israel’s trans community and the pageant’s theme of “Women for Change.” The winner will go on to represent Israel at the Miss Trans Star International pageant in Barcelona this September. The Miss Trans Israel pageant will be held Friday, May 27 at the Habima National Theater.

Tallywackers Debuts Boylesque

This summer, Tallywackers in Dallas will become the Official Home of Boylesque. Starting June 17, the restaurant known for its scantily clad waiters will host a monthly night of stripteases and comical talent. Each month will feature a new headliner for three performances at 7, 9, and 11 PM. The first will be nationally recognized performer, Luminous Pariah.

Miss Gay America Preliminaries

Across the country, state and regional competitions are taking place to scout the contestants for this year’s Miss Gay America pageant. The longest running female impersonator/drag competition in existence takes place October 5-9 in Memphis. This summer, take a detour on your road trip to check out one of the many preliminary pageants and get an early preview of the competition.
