Eurovision Finale to Air Live in U.S. For First Time
For the first time ever, Eurovision, aka the gayest talent show on earth, will be airing its grand finale live in the United States on Logo.
Contestants from across Europe have been competing in the song contest for renown and national pride since 1956, including past winners like ABBA (1974), Celine Dion (1988), and drag queen Conchita Wurst (2014). The contest is notoriously inclusive with LGBT contestants causing bigoted countries like Russia to ban the televising of the contest in the past.
Keep up with the contest online so you know who you’re rooting for going into the finale on May 14, and until then enjoy Conchita Wurst’s winning song below.
