The actress joins about 50 others in serving Thanksgiving dinner to the protesters of the North Dakota Access Pipeline.
Jane Fonda joins about 50 others who are visiting Standing Rock to serve Thanksgiving dinner to about 500 activists protesting the North Dakota Access Pipeline. Fonda will contribute five butchered bison and four Mongolian yurts to the Oceti Sakowin camp near Cannon Ball, North Dakota.
Fonda has been an outspoken activist for decades. In addition to her numerous unforgettable roles in such films as Barbarella, 9 to 5, and the current Netflix hit series Grace and Frankie, the actress has protested for the Civil Rights Movement and against the Vietnam War. She'll now use her celebrity to bring some much needed attention to the Standing Rock protests.
