One of our editors, LoAnn Halden, recently made a pilgrimage to the majestic Niagara Falls where, of course, we have all donned that electric blue Maid of the Mist poncho at one time in our lives.

Somehow, that poncho has become nearly as iconic as the Falls themselves, although thankfully they haven't become classic rainwear…
