The Staten Island Ferry adds to the view from the QM2 as we leave New York harbor on a transatlantic cruise to Southampton Sunday night, April 26, 2009. Next day, my partner Ira and I checked out the “Friends of Dorothy” party in the Commodore Lounge, as listed in the official Daily Schedule. As always we found dozens of gay travelers on board who proved to be congenial companions for the five days at sea.
