Cardiff's lesbian and gay nightlife comprises several bars and clubs, making it one of Britain's gay-friendliest cities. Bar Icon, a café-bar by day and laid-back bar by night, is the sister bar to Exit Club, located a few doors down the block.
Pulse, the newest arrival on Cardiff's scene, has a popular informal bar as you enter with more seating upstairs. There's no pretension, and chic décor that keeps with the building's Victorian grandeur. I chatted with Anton, who was working behind the bar, about how Pulse has quickly become the hottest clubs in Wales.
