Editor at large, Aefa Mulholland, spent the weekend on Oahu checking out new and exciting hotels and restaurants.

We were driving back from Kailua to Honolulu and stopped on a bluff on Diamond Head to admire the surfers paddling to join the crowds of bronzed bodies riding the waves further out. These two splashed into the water, hopped aboard their boards and headed out to the surf. -- Aefa Mulholland
