Crying for Argentina

Staying in the Centro District will afford you an easy walk to anyone's first stop in Buenos Aires, the Casa Rosato. Unfortunately, you are not allowed inside the gates, preventing every gay man from doing what he was destined to do; sing, “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina”, on that infamous balcony.

On another note, if you’re going to take one short side trip, get yourself to Tigre by train and explore its delta waterways by ferry. Instead of heading right to the chamber of commerce office for the larger tour boats, meander by the train station for personal guides who will take two to eight tourists on their own private pleasure boats; it’s a wonderful experience!
